About Me

I'm Karim Ahmed , a cybersecurity researcher, AI engineer, and educator with a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The German University in Cairo, specializing in AI and cybersecurity and their intersection—both offensive (red team) and defensive (blue team) operations. As an ISC2 member since October 2024 and Senior Teaching Assistant, I combine cutting-edge research with practical teaching experience (250+ students) in advanced computing and cloud technologies.

My expertise spans AI-powered security solutions, adaptive cyber defense, and full-stack development. I architect intelligent security systems using MITRE ATT&CK and D3FEND frameworks, develop reinforcement learning agents for moving target defense, and build production applications with the MERN stack. My Master's thesis focused on self-adaptive agentic architectures for real-time cyber threat response—pioneering automated defense mechanisms that leverage AI for both red team attack simulation and blue team incident response.
